Jamal CHAOUKI Professor, Polytechnique Montréal, Canada
Dr. Chaouki is full professor from 1995 at Polytechnique, Montréal. He has more than 23 patents on different processes. He is now editor of the Chemical Product and Process Modeling. He is also the director of the Biorefinery Center and a member of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. He is a member of the Board of the Ecole Polytechnique and several companies. He is a world-renowned consultant for at least 20 national and international companies. He has created 6 start-ups with his students: Formmat Tech. Inc., Shopmedia Inc., Pyrowave Inc, Ecolomondo, RMTech and GoldRecyc. His work is mainly dedicaded to develop processes from waste, biomass and complex feedstocks to heat & power, fuels and chemicals.
Charafeddine JAMA Professor, ENSCL, University of Lille, France
Dr. Charafeddine Jama is full professor in the National Graduate School of Engineering Chemistry of Lille (ENSCL). Prof. JAMA does research in Materials Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Biofilms and Cold Plasma processes. Prof. JAMA has supervised more than 17 Ph.D. and has 4 patents on different processes. He has over 109 publications on Scopus and his h-index is 28.
Sophie DUQUESNE Professor, ENSCL, University of Lille, France
Dr. Sophie Duquesne is full professor at the University of Lille (France) in the “Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Lille” (ENSCL). Her research interests concern the processing of flame-retarded materials including thermoplastics, elastomers, composites and textiles as well as the development of fire protective coatings for various substrates with a special interest in the intumescent process. She also investigates the recycling processes of polymeric waste including mechanical recycling, pyrolysis and the life cycle assessment. She has over 140 publications on Scopus.
Didier ROBERT Professor, University of Strasbourg and Lorraine-France Dr. Didier ROBERT is Professor in the ICPEES (Institute of Chemistry and Process for Energy, Environment and Health-CNRS) at Saint-Avold in France (antenna of the Universities of Strasbourg and Lorraine). He has initiated in 1997 the research area “heterogeneous photocatalysis” at the University of Metz. His work focuses on the controlled synthesis and design of nanomaterials dedicated to photocatalysis. Two major research themes are developed (i) the synthesis of nanomaterials, their functionalization and the development of specific architectures and (ii) Applications for Environment and Security. He is author of 110 international publications in the field of chemistry and photocatalysis and 7 books (or chapters). He is editor in chief and co-founder of the journal: Environmental Chemistry Letters, published by Springer since 2003 and most recently co-editor of the book series "Environmental Chemistry for Sustainable Word "from Springer.
Pascal FONGARLAND Professor, Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, France Dr. Pascal Fongarland is full professor in Claude Bernard University Lyon 1. He is Director of Laboratory of Catalytic Process Engineering (LGPC) and Head of the Chemistry Master UCBL. Prof. Fongarland does research in: Lignin catalytic conversion with heterogeneous catalyst, Lignocellulosic materials extraction, Syngas conversion, Multiphase reactor, Development of integrated processes etc. He has over 54 publications on Scopus and his h-index is 21.
